Dear Presidents and member Associations,

We are pleased and proud to invite you to the XI edition of the WKC World Championships open to all categories of age, to be held on 24th, 25th and 26th of June 2016 in the nice and beautiful town of Rimini, the pearl and diamond resort of the Italian Adriatic coast.

The organization of the prestigious  international event will be held by FIAM (Italian Martial Arts Federation) that follows many years of excellent working partnership with Rimini institutions and hospitality facilities.

We decided to open this event to all age categories, from children to seniors to masters.

FIAM, in collaboration with Samurai magazine, represented by Giacomo Spartaco Bertoletti, has the great opportunity to show to the world of martial arts and the dense community of national and international Karate how big is today is WKC, World Confederate organization, which disciplines since 1996 testified  fame events in every corner of the world.

The prestige of this event is also displayed by the choice of the town of Rimini as a privileged location to host this level of manifestation.

Rimini, famous resort of the Adriatic Riviera, is also a city of relevant historical and cultural level (although this aspect is usually relegated to second place compared to be the most famous capital of the night and social life). Colony founded in fact by the Romans in 268 BC, during the entire period of their domination was a key node of communication between the north and south of the peninsula.

Due to its favorable geographic location and accommodation facilities, Rimini has established itself as one of the leading trade fair and congress center in Europe, hosting exhibitions and major conferences.

Rimini is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean, thanks to its beach, the bathing facilities, theme parks and the many opportunities for fun and leisure.

Rimini gathers a quarter of the overall regional hospitality industry, with over 1,000 hotels of all categories, of which about 300 are open all year, for a total of 72,000 beds, in addition to hundreds of residences, apartments, villas, bed and breakfasts and campings.

The tourism industry is based on the seaside, along with the offering relative to the fairs and congresses, events, night life, culture, wellness and to wines.
